Active cooling system for matrices from Fujifilm

Posted on

Fujifilm has registered patent P2020163229, which describes an active sensor cooling system using a fan and radiator for cameras with IBIS (matrix stabilization system). Fujifilm engineers want to place a cooling system between the stabilization system and the matrix.

Canon has previously implemented forced air cooling in the EOS R5C, but FUJIFILM seems to be thinking about both forced cooling and IBIS.
