The oldest camera in the world

The oldest camera in the world is the Daguerreotype. In 2007, the Daguerreotype camera manufactured by the French firm Susse Freres in 1839 was sold at the WestLicht Photographica Auctions in Vienna for more than 500,000 euros. In 2010, at the same Vienna auction, another Daguerreotype camera, designed by Alphonse Giroud, was sold for more than 700,000 euros (from the site https://samogoo.net/).
