The world’s first color photography

«Plaid Ribbon» — This photograph is considered the world’s first color photography. To take this photograph in 1861, physicist James Clerk Maxwell asked photographer Thomas Sutton to take three identical photographs with different color filters: red, green, and blue-violet. When the three images were combined, they formed the first ever color photograph (from the site https://pikabu.ru/)
