Depending on the size of the film (digital matrix), cameras are divided into three main formats: large (> 100 mm x 100 mm), medium (≈ 60 mm x 60 mm) and small (36 mm x 24 mm). The larger the size of the film (digital sensor), the higher the quality of the resulting picture.
