Cosina has introduced a new macro lens Voigtlander Apo — Lanthar 65mm F / 2 Macro. The Voigtlander Apo Lanthar 65mm F/2 Macro lens is designed for full frame cameras. It has manual focus and aperture settings.

The optical design of the novelty includes 10 elements in 8 groups, including 6 lenses made of glass with partial anomalous dispersion and 1 double-sided aspherical lens, according to a press release.

The Voigtlander Apo — Lanthar 65mm F/2 Macro lens has a multi-coated coating to increase light transmission and reduce flare and ghosting. The lens, as follows from the manufacturer’s statement, is able to almost completely eliminate axial chromatic aberration for the three primary colors: red, green and blue.

The aperture of the lens consists of 10 blades (F / 2.0 — F / 22). The minimum focusing distance is only 31 cm. It achieves a maximum magnification of 1:2. All settings are made manually using the ring on the lens.

Voigtlander Apo — Lanthar 65mm F/2 Macro has electronic contacts, thanks to which functions are supported: EXIF ​​data transfer, manual focus assist function, interaction with matrix stabilization (IBIS), if such a function is provided in the camera. It is also reported that communication via electronic contacts is possible with all Nikon Z cameras that have the latest firmware version installed.

The body and bayonet of the lens are made of metal, the diameter of the thread for installing filters is Ø67 mm. The lens dimensions are Ø78×89 mm, weight is 618 g.

The Voigtlander Apo — Lanthar 65mm F/2 Macro Lens for Nikon Z cameras will go on sale in November 2022 for 125,000 yen.
