There was an announcement from Apple Corporation of a new generation of Apple iPhone 14 smartphones. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models were presented. Both models received enlarged screens and matrices of the main camera, as well as an active image stabilization system for video. Thus, for the first time in several years, Apple has released a larger smartphone not within the Pro-series. However, at the same time, the company refused to develop compact iPhone mini. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max were also presented with a new A16 chip (made using 4 nm technology), an improved display and a 48 megapixel camera.
New items inherit the design of the iPhone of the last generation. Unlike the new iPhone 14 Pro-series, the regular versions have retained the cutout at the top of the display, which houses the front camera and an array of TrueDepth sensors. The case of the device is made of metal and glass, which provides protection from mechanical damage.
